Design:
The Certificate in Biblical Studies is designed as an introductory and basic foundation course. It is a good foundation course for the 'seeker' and those exploring the Christian Faith. It is also a good starting point for the aspiring lay-preacher / pastor.

Certificate Prerequisites:
Potential stydents who have not attained G.C.S.E. status and whose Christian education is limited are required to begin their studies by enrolling in the Certificate Course. This course will afford them with a basic foundation for further study. Thirty [30] hours course work must be completed at Seekers International Seminary before the certificate is granted. Ten [10] three hour modules constitute the 30 hours needed. All completed coursework must be either emailed, or sent through a secure mailing system to the student's tutor. Coursework submitted to 'Seekers' should always be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope for the marked and graded assignments to be returned.
Course of Study:
Apart from the module – Introduction to Theology, for which there is a suggested textbook, all other modules are lecture/lesson based. Each lecture/lesson consists of a number of questions related to the module plus a module assignment of between 400 to 500 words. The course includes writing a homiletical sketch, and the compilation of a Theological Glossary Sheet.
