Associate of Biblical Studies [A.B.S.] 90 Credits
Design:
The Associate of Biblical Studies Degree is designed to further enhance the seminarian's knowledge and to provide a greater understanding of Biblical principles.

- Introduction to Biblical Interpretation.
- Introduction to the Old Testament.
- Introduction to the New Testament.
- Basic Christian Theology.
- Biblical Numerology.
- Introduction to Christian Doctrine.
- Origin of the Bible.
- Methods of Bible Study.
- Prophecy.
- Introduction to Biblical Literature.
Degree Prerequisites:
A G.C.S.E. or G.E.D. or equivalent, and at least 60 earned, transferable, theological credits [including prior-learning experience]. Thirty [30] hours of coursework must be completed at 'Seekers International Seminary' before the degree is granted. Ten [10] three hour modules plus a Course Assignment [2,000 words] constitute the 30 hours needed. All completed coursework must be either emailed or sent through a secure mailing system to the student's assigned tutor. Coursework submitted to 'Seekers' should always be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope for the marked and graded assignments to be returned.

From the list below students may choose ten [10] textbooks for study. Each textbook constitutes three hours of credit or one module. Students may order the Textbooks through Amazon.com or their local booshop.

- Summarise your favourite chapter in the book in 3 to 5 pages.
- Write 1 or 2 pages on how this book may benefit your Christian life and ministry.
- Has this book changed your perspective or affirmed something you knew about ministry? If so, how? Write a half page paragraph.
- What is each chapter about? Write a summary on each chapter.
All assignments should be double-spaced, and demonstrate that the student has read the chosen course material.
