Jesus Vigilant Church, Nairobi
The Church worships in rented rooms at the Dama Hotel, in the Lithuli Avenue area of Nairobi. It has a membership of 360 , with only 5% in any kind of employment. Although they have been gifted some AV equipment by a U.S. Institute, their greatest need is Bibles. Only 30 have personal Bibles. ‘Seekers International’ [Seminary] is involved with encouraging and consolidating the work of its four pastors who are studying the Seekers Certificate in Biblical Studies. The Church has two choirs – the Voice of Grace Choir, the Evangelism Choir and the children’s Melody Group. The Church is actively involved in Street Evangelism Ministry in Nairobi.
